Experiencing the joy of being a grandmother of four. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Two visits with grandkids and no post? I should be ashamed. Blame it on sheer exhaustion. My visit with Celia and Dylan was pure delight! The other grandma was there with me. and, believe me, it takes two sets of eyes, arms, legs and 60 year old energy to do the job right! Here are a few of the pictures of the MD cuties! Floods, snakes, in.

Friday, March 16, 2018. I sometimes walk or bike around the block, a five mile trip that takes me past a golf course. I spotted these very near the sidewalk. Unfortunately my phone camera is not the best. An eagle fledgling surveying the world outside the nest. Mama eagle is on the branch to the left. And Papa eagle was in a nearby tree. I went by again today and the baby was out of the nest and perched on the branch.

Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Let there be cake! A special birthday cake, that Katie gets to smash, smear, eat and play with all she wants on her special day! And there was, and she did, all over herself and anyone and anything within reach of her high chair! I think the grown-ups had as much fun watching this mash-up, as Katie had doing the mashing! First Birthday Smash Cakes seem to be the thing to do today. Who knew? Happy Birthday, Katie. hugs and more hugs, Bubbie.
